NANNE ALLECIA, CO-FOUNDER AND MANAGING DIRECTOR
As a Broadway professional, voice teacher and mother, Nanne Allecia brings her love of music and the arts to students of all ages. Nanne holds a Bachelors of Arts degree in Program in the Arts/Theatre from Barnard College, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. She has been performing professionally since the age of 14 when she made her Off-Broadway debut in The Second Hurricane, a children's opera directed by Tazwell Thompson and performed as part of Aaron Copland's 85th birthday celebration. While in college, Nanne won the New York Singing Teachers' Association Musical Theatre Competition. Over the years, Nanne has sung on Broadway, off Broadway, at Lincoln Center, in the NYC Opera and throughout the country. When she is not performing on stage, Nanne can sometimes be found singing the National Anthem at New York Rangers games in Madison Square Garden, a favorite venue for her son Jesse. Nanne can be heard on numerous recordings including the Broadway cast recording of Candide, Lost in Boston IV, Unsung Musicals III, A Time To Be Born, and the Musical Theatre International Recording of Big. Nanne is a member of the Actor's Equity Association (AEA), the American Guild of Musical Artists (AGMA), and the American Film, Television and Radio Association (AFTRA).
